AUDITION MATERIALS:
Prepare 2 contrasting jazz pieces (of your choice)
Bring 3 copies of your written music
Scales/arpeggios: major and minor, all keys
Sight-reading: chordal (lead sheet), rhythmic, & melodic
PREREQUISITE:
Successful completion of basic course in improvisation
Bring transcripts, unofficial are fine
IT COULD BE YOU NEXT YEAR!
One lucky A-JAM student is invited to the annual meeting of the International Association of Schools of Jazz (IASJ) to perform with students and professional musicians from all over the world.
