Northwest Vista College's FALL MUSIC FESTIVAL will be held on Wednesday, November 28 and Thursday, November 29, at 7:30 PM both days, in Palmetto Theatre. The festival features student ensembles, including chamber and jazz ensembles, choirs, student jazz combos and outstanding classical and jazz soloists. FREE WORKSHOP with Top World-Jazz Guitarist, Monday Dec 10, 12:30 PM
Thanks to Musical Bridges Around the World, renowned world-jazz guitarist Rez Abbasi will be performing in San Antonio on December 9 with stellar band mates Dave Binney, Vijay Iyer, Michael Sarin, and Johannes Weidenmueller as they blend traditional jazz with sounds influenced by their Indian, New York and Southern California backgrounds.
